Freeze Protection Controls

Take the guessing out of pipe maintenance and rest assured that even on the coldest winter days, your pipes will continue to flow when installed with automatic controls for freeze protection.

Warmup offers a selection of controls for freeze protection to suit your project.

When to use the TF115-001 controller?

Designed perfectly for small and medium-sized jobs, the TF115-001 Controller will provide protection to pipes, ducts and sprinklers to prevent the destructive effects of burst pipes. The TF115-001 Controller is in a rugged, weather resistant enclosure, enabling placement most anywhere. It mounts near or onto the pipe or duct for accurate monitoring. It has a large, visible dial, allowing for easy & simple control of set points. Read Specification sheet.

When to use the SST-2 controller?

In more advanced situations or commercial applications, the built-in relays with GFEP protection in the SST-2 provide an all-in-one solution to control pipe protection systems.

The SST-2 is an automatic ambient or pipe sensing freeze protection control, that is simple to install and operate. It is ideal for pipe freeze protection and snow melting applications in residential environments. The SST–2 operates heating systems at temperatures below 40F (4.4C) and turns them off above 42F (5.5C). The included external temperature sensor is an NEC Class 2 device rated for wet locations. The sensor can be located up to 2,000 feet (610 m) away from the SST-2.The SST-2 also features built-in 30 mA, self-testing Ground-Fault Equipment Protection (GFEP) capability, digitally filtered to minimize false tripping.  The SST-2 operates from automatically selected operating voltages of 120, 208, 240 or 277 volts, single-phase. It controls heater loads of up to 30 amps while consuming less than 2 watts when idling. Read Specification Sheet.
